The standard hdm cable needs a good inch and half if you are going to have to bend the end at all.

My 47 panasonic led needed 90 degree adapters since there are 4 side mounted hdmis but other tvs may need a 270 degree or if theyre on the back of your tv you may want to route the cables up or down and that depends on the adapter you get

I plugged it into the side of the tv bent it 90 degrees and plugged in the hdmi cable
