Pros

Plugged in and booted up with no issues.

Mxtechnic 1 meter usb 2. Adapter works great. Works great for a simple converter. Used it for new dell computers with old displays. Worked great for new dell computers.

Good company. Good construction. Good quality cable. Well made. Don't hesitate.

Replacement provided by company works and seems to be holding up. But it isn't terribly expensive, either. I even carry one in my backpack as some places only have dvi for their projector.

Cons

This is not an hdmi to dvi. This connector is passive in that it will not signal to the system that a monitor is indeed connected, and so it's basically junk. Failed after only 2 years of very infrequent use. Did not work on show.
