Pros & Cons
Pros
Cables like this are not inexpensive but are made with higher quality materials and craftmanship as they have to get certified by intel to carry the thunderbolt logo. This thunderbolt cable is quite sturdy and has some solid feeling insulation to it.
Highlights
Quality
Works great and feels robust and sturdy.
It has a top-quality feel and materials and solid performance, with a decent amount of flexibility in the cable.
0 standard is cross-compatible with thunderbolt and the usb-if does not require certification.
I do wish they had made the boots a little less bulky as it doesn't work well for charging my iphone with a third party case on it.
Price
) come in two varieties: short and expensive.
Competitiveness
I chose this cable mostly because i am familiar with the brand from using other of their products, and this cable is no different.
While this does make it less flexible than most other usb cables, the trade-off is worth it for the massive throughput it provides.
