This is the only usb-c cable that properly connects the m1 macbook pro to my widescreen monitor. The macbook detects the monitor and the monitor's usb hub also works. It is well made and a good length.
Cons
After 3 months the cable is very temperamental. It started happening while the product was still eligible for return.

I know in theory i dont need this cable to connect my macbook to my philips monitor but in practice i couldnt get the usb c cable supplied with the monitor to work
