Works great for using lcd tv with the apple displayport.
Quality is so-so, but given the price, i expected worse.
It is 6 months old, so i can't recommend the quality of this item.

Because of that i have to plug this adapter in first then after that plug in the hdmi line for the main screen

I would often have to power cycle my monitor and unplugreplug this in to get it to work but then it always would work

Then there was my apprehension about it not working on the computer used by my technology avoidant spouse
