Pictures are absolutely misleading. The connector ends are absolute garbage.

Thanks for wasting 2 weeks of my time, amazon. Save yourself some grief and a return to amazon. Do not waste your time or money. Fiber is very cheap, and this should be as well. Beware when odering.

It looks nice but it is complete rubbish. The 24k plating mentioned looks like the gold color you'd get front buying a can of 99 cent gold pray paint.

Toshiba developed toslink and states emphatically that 16 feet is the maximum distance without a signal booster. The cable is cheaply manufactured and doesn't fit into some input ports. The optical input now no longer works properly.
