    Purchased for an r710 and no this was not the correct cable right angle turned the wrong way but did work just have to play with cable routing and i did have enough slack to do that

    For those people that did complain about clearance issues my guess is either theres been a very recent redesign of the connector at the backplane for the product offered here on amazon or the the user probably didnt remove the fan array to ensure the braided cables are properly seated and neatly routed along the original cable path to the controller card
