Pros

They are the same cost as an active adapter, and you don’t have to deal with older dvi cables. I am also pleased that the display port plug is not the usual junk molded button. There are many other cables look just like this but they are passive.

Fits snug and secure with good picture. Perfectly packaged.

The key is active. It works as intended. Works like a charm. Works well, folk.

Cons

These cables are advertised as active cables. They're really not active cables. It's too late to return these unfortunately. It is inferior in every way. Will be ordering an actual active adapter instead.

Competitiveness

It works well with my 1440p display at 60hz, for the price can't beat it would buy again.

I was pleasantly surprised to see it working at full 1440p 60hz resolution!

Tried two other passive hdmi to dvi cables which didn't work for my old 1440p ips monitor.
