Plug in powe 1st on both items turn monitor on turn pc on, some board manufacturers you will have to post and rest 5 or 6 times, this resets videos issue in bios, then perfect pics, used to have to do once a month back in day, it wasn't cable used sever brands and types and video cards to mother boards, started when i had old intell 11g socket , all i can remember, from nvidia 6000 series to 3000 series with upgraded cables and well whole new pc's remember computer will repost several times just simply unplugged everything but would always come back on, so in the beginning i had 144 monitor which you could only get the full use with dp.  Read Less
