I love anything that helps to feed my ocd ways. No observable negative impact on network performance. In use now for several months with zero issues.

The release tab is totally covered by very hard plastic cover which does not flex when depressed. The 90 degree connector sticks out over 3/4 from the wall. The problem for me is disconnecting it.
