Cablecreations is very responsive and helpful if you message them with a question. It works perfectly(high refresh rates) and saved me a climb up everest haha. I'm glad this product did something it never promised to do.

I have an hp elitebook 840 g6. It has a thunderbolt 3 (usb type-c) connected to a hp usb-c g5 dock. That dock has an hdmi 2. Connector into the source (graphics card) and the hdmi to your display. I have two mini-to-display adapters.
This configuration requires an active converter cable. This cable is sleek looks like a standard highspeed hdmi cable. It works as advertised.

Good cable and works as intended at 4k 60hz.
Never had a monitor cable fail after 5-6 months.
Without that mechanical clip, the dp connect will disconnect from the video card ports.

I guess you always get what you pay for .

Thinking that hdmi input on the monitor would be better, i got a random dp->hdmi cable at a local store, and that didn't work at all.
After the two returns of other brands, i wanted to be sure i was getting the right thing this time.
In contrast cablecreation active cable works really well.

I bought 3 of these cables having a dedicated graphics card with 3 displayport outputs and 3 hdmi monitors

All 3 monitors appear to my computer as displayport rather than hdmi which would be the case if i were using passive displayport to hdmi cables or adapters

The refresh rate on my work system only went to 100 hz but it does support 144 hz

The same monitors work fine on the system at 1440p 144 hz using display port but i need that for my personal system
