Works as designed right out of the zip-locked packaging. Works great connecting my monitor to my mac mini.

The * end was crushed, and it could not be used or repaired. Shame on apple for trying to monopolize their ridiculous thunderbolt and thunderbolt 3 connections.

An excellent adaptor to upgrade an old monitor without hdmi to enhance productivity of my macbook pro!

All i had to do was plug this into my windows 10 machine, and within 10 seconds it had installed itself.

Everything attaches, which i like because my other displayport connector is very hard to insert.
