Quality

The only thing i noticed is that i have to have it plugged in before i turn the laptop on, or the screen quality is poor.

The screen quality is just as high as it is at work with the hp docking station.

I don't know if that is an issue with the adapter or the computer, though.

Running an hp gaming 15 i5-8th gen, with the nvidia 1050ti as well as intel integrated gpu.

Price

I'm glad i purchased it and at this price i couldn't pass it up.

One major thing i think that'd be great to have on this for the price is a usb port of any sort.

Competitiveness

I used this to connect a wacom cintiq 22hd to a 2017 imac.

Saw this one was cheaper than many of the competitors and it seemed to be functionally the same.

I'm using two of these adapters with a 2016 macbookpro (with the touch bar and four usb-c ports).
