Pros
Use to increase internal network transfer speed to synology nas. Wireless lan connectivity is great - but nothing beats a wired lan connection for latency, speed, and reliability.
With cmd ipconfig /all, i see windows used mac replication and was sent to the adapter. The primary nic on a dell 3070 optiplex is freed-up for the pitney bows private network & letter sorter.
Cons
Click on that and in the window below that's filled with lots of tech jargon. It starts up but the menu bar is missing. The other machines i was testing against are :- bumblebee.
Roku streambar does not work with the roku router. The adapter logs into the router but cannot acquire the dhcp ip address to obtain internet access. Booted router 3 times, no go.
The nic performance fluctuates wildly while negotiated at 2. Speeds burst around 480-500 mbps and then would stall or drop the connection. When i plug via this ethernet it only goes up to 50mbps download.
They are ok for quick bursts of data, but if you need 2. Gbits/sec, they're not for you.

This product was very affordable and i’ve been using it for 4 1/2 months everyday with no problems whatsoever.
Customer success with a $16 adapter from amazon.
This was the best $70 (i bought 2 adapters) i have spent in a long time.
And the price is right on it too.

This product was delivered on time and nicely packaged.
I am on the att 300mbps plan and got 320mbps with this device vs 170mbps i got on the amazon basic when plugged to the usb2.

It was received brand in perfect condition.
Competitiveness
1 and got over 80mbps more compared to the amazon basic at 260mbps.
I've had other brands that didn't work all of the time
I wanted to get better transfer speed between my lenovo mini and my nas.

I originally set up a hard wire from the router to the tv and the maximum speed was no more than 90 mbps on the download
