Cable creation claims its cable works with macs. Was only able to get 1080p 60 signals from macstudio to lg monitor.

The cable seems very well made with a durable rubbery-feeling coating and good strain relief on the connectors.
This is a well made cable that seems to have quality premium parts.
Because the connector is right up against the case for the pc board controlling the cable it wouldn't fit into the port on the monitor.
The end of the hdmi went into the back of my portable monitor and the usbc went into my rg556.
Price
Really happy overall and the price is decent if you find it on sale for about 12-13 bucks.
The fact that you get two for this price really makes it a deal
Packaging/appearance
They look just like the seller photos (white hdmi/usb-c cables, 2 pack).
Got the 5 pack so i can have one for each tv, but also allows me to connect my chromebook to the tv as well.
Competitiveness
I have also tried these on my samsung galaxy phone and it enables dex just fine as well.
If you are going to plug into a tv set the 10 foot would be a better deal.

I am unsure of its transmission though as the tablet i bought these for does not transmit video via usb

The bad news first i had problems with hooking the hdmi side to one of my monitors

It is an older monitor and the ports are in an indented area but the indentation is narrow

The problem is the space between the port and the edge of the indentation it sits in is to narrow for this device

Plugged it into the monitor and the ipad turned on both devices and viola the ipad display is perfectly mirrored on the big 2434 monitor
