Price
The price was excellent and precluded the need for time-consuming and perhaps expensive physical therapy for me.
I figured that for the low price, i had little to lose by trying these.
Packaging/appearance
I bought these to wear for those awful shin splints i would get while walking on the dreadmill, burpees, jumping jacks, and even lunges.
Competitiveness
But the large pink ones really work the best for competition and gaining a compression advantage.
As a chef of 15 years i spent countless hours standing on hard surfaces, up to 12-14 hours a day.
