Pros & Cons
Pros
Calphalon cookware pots and pans are a good mix of price to value. Cleaning is easy and i love the straining lid. Perfect for flat-top stove.
The tempered glass cover lid has two strainers (one on each side) -- small holes on one and larger on the other. Love the built in strainer. To prevent warping, use the right size burner.
great for pouring, but it limits the foods i can cook in it. Love the spouts on each side. Great features of the pour spout, measure lines on the inside of pan and the sturdy lid.
Cons
I got kicked off the page and had to write this review. The other i sent back is the 1 1/2 quart which the handle and lid have no rubber in the handles.
Highlights
Quality
Easy clean up, heats well and evenly on our glass top cooking surface.
A handy size, i like the spouts, it is heavy and of a good quality.
It comes with a lid, but the lid is useless because the pan is lipped.
Nothing sticks, and goop basically rinses away without cleaning.
Price
A little expensive but i will have this pot for ever.
Shipping
The pan came on time and i have put it to plenty of use, i am very satisfied so much that i ordered the 31/2 q.
Competitiveness
Overall, i’m pleased with my purchase and will continue to buy the calphalon brand.
I will eventually replace all of my sauce pans with this brand.

It took me a long time to realize that nonstick cookware needs to be used on medium high heat and never on high heat

Also if i have to replace these in a couple or 3 years i wont mind it as much as the cost replacement factor is reasonable

A little too narrow though and the handles of both lid and pot are not heat resistant
