Pros & Cons
Pros
This 5qt pan fits the bill when it's just me and my husband. The lid is of a quality weight and fits just snug enough.
It has a tiny dent along the edge of the lid, but it could have happened in shipping and is barely noticeable. I usually buy my calphalon pans at tj maxx or marshall's. No warping or flaking on mine.
Cons
The lid on the 5 quart pan was shipped damaged. Further review of the glass lid shows that the gasket between the glass and the metal rim is missing.
Highlights
Quality
The quality of the pan is excellent.
It was $60 less than the next cheapest seller, i so i am satisfied.
If you have to use an oil, use coconut oil or butter, as these don't seem to have any reaction with the pan interior.
Shipping
It has a tiny dent along the edge of the lid, but it could have happened in shipping and is barely noticeable.
Packaging/appearance
It came without any calphalon packaging, but nicely packed in a box.

Never use crisco oil vegetable oil or canola oil in the pans as these type of oils will cause a buildup to form in the pan that ruins the nonstick surface
