This appliance makes two waffles at a time. While cooking, the led display has a countdown timer. Instead of simple lamps, there is an informative lcd screen that shows when the appliance is ready.
The nonstick coating is very easy to clean. The ceramic non-stick really works.
The calphalon intellicrisp waffle maker only does one thing, obviously that's make waffles, but it excels at it. It overcomes some of those issues, while introducing a new one. The waffle maker is well made with sturdy materials.
Oatbran chia cornmeal waffles. Waffles come out light and fluffy, yet a little bit crisp. The settings knob allows finetuning of the crispness.
The batter pours on so smoothly. They are cooked incredibly evenly. It cooks the waffles fairly evenly.

The price is higher than competing waffle irons and i hope the coating and cooking performance last longer to justify the added cost.

One little tip the instructions say to use 12 cup of batter but that will almost guarantee an overflow so i use a bit less than 12 cup

If you do get a bit too much batter the overflow moat will keep it from making a total mess
