Pros

It still works fine. It beeps a couple of times when they’re done, but you get no more beeps after that. Makes perfect waffles everytime.

Sturdily made and attractive too. It is simple to use and sturdy! A nice, quality product. Makes perfect waffles and cleanup is a breeze.

This iron works better with thicker batters. Heats evenly and is very fast. Another terrific calphalon product.

Cons

The batter oozed out everywhere. The non-stick coating isn't so non- stick. Waffles are not as evenly cooked as other models.

The plates are not removable. If the claims of no peek and beautiful waffles are to believed then i have received an extremely defective product.

Instructions say it beeps when it's done heating up, then it beep again. Even if the timer did work correctly, the user interface is the stupiest design. The closure and automatic timer is not great functionality.
