The metal frame wraps around the glass in such a way as to leave a small gap at the lip. I like how they stack together easily. The individual pieces appear to be well-crafted and likely to last many years with proper care.

Single woman loves her cast iron cooking pans. They are heavy duty and dishwasher safe. The 8" pan is a perfect size for a single woman to cook with.
