Pros
It's heavy enough that it does not scorch. The pan is sturdy, well-built and exudes high-quality feel. The heavy material makes the heat go evenly around the pan.
Oh calphalon premier space-saving hard-anodized nonstick cookware, 5-quart saute pan. This is the best cookware i've ever used. It's a great saucepan that's why i replaced it.
Cleanup is very easy. Does not leave any stains. It's easy to wash and well.
This is a replacement pan for the one i used a metal potato masher in. Perfect pot for a large stew or soup or chili. Its perfect for large soups, boiling potatoes, or chilli.
Bought the 5qt pan about 2 years ago. This 12qt stock pot perfectly complements my calphalon space saver pan/pot set. Will fit on its side in my cabinet.
Cons
Less than 10% of the pan actually comes in contact with the heating surface. Return period is lapsed and i am stuck with this pot. The nonstick coating is scratched and worthless after just 2 years of light use.

We just love calphalon pans and pots and this one did not disappoint and it was a great price.
Price on amazon was lower than on the calphalon website!

I’ve been wanting a stock pot for a while but was also positive that i wanted no other cookware other than calphalon.
I have other calphalon pans, but this particular size is great for smaller stews, soups, etc.
