Pros

It brews fast, the correct temperature, is easy to fill with water and add coffee.

It makes coffee i like and as of now, works as advertised. It is unavailable for the foreseeable future. I like it a lot, but it carries a rather hefty price tag.

Coffee maker is a proven design with up-to-date technology. It has a slim foot print, and does not take up the depth of the counter. This is almost as good as using the chemex coffee maker.

The carafe is one of the best i've used. No spillage when pouring a cup. Opted to switch back to a multiple-cup coffee maker.

Cons

Although it does adequately make coffee, the carafe is this coffee maker’s weak spot. The lid is not removable. The carafe has already cracked and no replacement carafes are available anywhere, even from the manufacturer.

The coffee maker can not make a piping hot cup of coffee. There's no way to reattach it so the coffee maker cannot be used. It's such a small problem that renders the whole maker useless.
