Pros & Cons
Pros
The tri-ply pot heats well and cooks evenly. It heats up fast and holds the heat, so i have to be careful about not burning things to the bottom while simmering. It has a very pretty mirror shine to it, so much so that i leave it on my stove all the t... Read More
The heft of the pot along with the tightness of the build is second to anything i have ever used to cook with in the kitchen. The only thing is the handles do get hot and you need to use pot holders.
This is the size and shape for corn-on-the-cob, pasta, soups and stews, and veggies you want to blanch to a bright green in copious boiling water. Spagetti fits in whole without waiting for the ends to soften.
The stainless steel is thick and it easy is to clean. Haven't seen any rust or pitting. It is sturdy and cleans up beautifully as well.
Highlights
Quality
This a quality stockpot without the hefty price.
(teflon free :)) the quality is amazing!
Despite the fact that i was very unhappy with the 8-qt.
I may buy a small size of the same product.
Price
The price is an incredible value for what you get.
This pot is perfect and i cannot believe the price.
Shipping
Ours was shipped from macy's and both shipping and delivery were very satisfactory.
Very pleased with purchase and speedy shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Our family has been in the restaraunt business for years.
Competitiveness
I didn't notice that on the wolfgang model.
I had borrowed my mother-in-law's 6qt wolfgang puck tri-ply for several years and finally decided to return it.
I was worried about it being huge and not being able to store it, but it's not that much bigger in size than the 6qt pot.
