My son is in the school band and they need to were all black with black ties, so this fit the bill at a reasonable cost.

It’s well constructed and suitable for 10-14-year-olds—nothing special in its packaging.

They do need to define "big boys" better though, i thought it might fit my toddler but it is for preteen boys.

It is primarily 2 inches wide along the front of the tie and extends out to a width of about 2

Just keep in mind that this tie’s length is 48 inches long and a typical adult tie is about 57 to 58 inches

That being said if you need it for one singular event or your child is going to be growing out of boy size soon you can probably find an alternate goodenough one for under 25
