Pros

My camelbak has a small zippered pocket on the hip straps that i slip it into. I feel this is a must have with any hydration system.

It fully encloses the bite valve. Made of durable plastic, it stays on tight and keeps my valve covered and clean. It makes a great seal and protects against dirt.

This is for the camelbak big bite mouthpiece. It is a bit tricky to get the mouth piece (with the cover over it) back onto the valve assembly, the cover works well. This cover fits a little loose around the old-style hose, but it seems to snap closed ... Read More

I wish camelbak's came with this nifty cover. This cover is an absolute essential if you own a camelbak reservoir. Once the cover is installed it works great!

Cons

This bite valve is for the milspec military grade camelbak, not the civilian camelbak. I have a different hydration pack and the cover loops onto the tubing which is much easier to use.

After getting frustrated and forcing it on and almost feeling like i'll damage the mouthpiece it slowly slid on without breaking.

These valve covers should really come standard on all camelbaks.

Was easy enough to put on and the price didn't kill me.

It's such a hassle and an inconvenience to pay $100+ for a bag and still have to pay for and install this thing.

A little pricey for such a small cap but i'm glad i got this cap.

Price was a little steep but it was exactly what i needed and it works very well.

Arrived on time and had no damage.

My package did get out on back order and come two days late but i still received it before my deadline.

Packaging/appearance

I wish this came with the camelbak pack because it's 100% necessary!

It isn't in the way on camelbak summer packs, and also fits nicely inside the insulated shoulder strap of the camelbak zoid.
