Highlights
Quality
This is superior to the shutoff that comes with the platypus.
Original camelbak 90 degree connection with the hydrolock.
Price
Cost me $6 for this and another $6 for the bite valve.
Packaging/appearance
Works perfectly, it's nice to be able to shut off the stream so it doesn't leak if it gets set down on the bitevalve.
It fit well into the camelbak tube and the bite nozzle fit well over it.

If youre like me and have older camelbaks youve probably had the very unsettling and dangerous experience of having the bladder leak water through the pressure valve resulting in being left with no water in the midst of an extreme environment where water is of paramount importance
