It might be a tighter fit on the newer crux valve as well as off-brand replacement valves.

Dont store with the cover sealed incase there is some left over water in the valve that needs to air out some more

Im kinda bummed i cant have the bladders in the fridge ready to go night before and just throw in bag day of without messing with the valve and cap

While it does make removing and mounting the big bite valve a bit harder it is not because of a tight fit
