My original battery is in the garmin never work properly but this was a great replacement and was easy to install in nuvicam.
(garmin really needs to make their products batteries more user replacable by non technicians, uggh!

Therein was the only issue i had with the kit the tool used to separate the shell of the gps and pry up the old battery was not made with a strong enough plastic for much more than one use as the thin edges cracked off easily

It also did not include an adhesive pad to secure the new battery but thats hardly a big deal as its a secure fit

The connector for the battery was not as easy to position as i might have hoped but i think that was a garmin issue with the connector type they used not one with the kit

This is not the fault of the kit but apparently the ribbon conductor for the display on my unit had become brittle with age and part of it cracked when flexed even a little by the shell separation killing my display
