Pros

This compass is pricey, but i wanted a rugged compass for hiking in the woods and this one doesn't disappoint. It works just like the one i had while in the military. I like it though and i like how it locks itself shut.

It is sturdy and points north every time. It is a well built compass that you can depend on. This is a solid piece you can rely on that will be with you for many years.

This is the best highest quality compass i have found anywhere for the price.

If i was using every day for night navigation and trying to stay hidden i would have gone with the tritium compass.

Shipping

One side note however, shipping was slightly slower than i had hoped.

It took more than a week with standard shipping because it didn't leave the supplier for several days.
