Pros

The lid is deep enough to be the perfect frying pan. The lid acts as a griddle too, though i haven't used it yet. It has a thermometer port which is a huge advantage.

Nicely and seriously seasoned cast iron. The seasoning is very durable. Finish is not as smooth as a baby, but i will take to body shop to sand a bit, mainly the lid.

The 9 qt. The 12 and 10 on the 9qt. Nice dutch oven. This gets my highest recommendation. I highly recommend it.

Cons

The attachment for one side of the handle was shattered during shipment. The point of attachment for the handle seems thin and fragile.

As a cash iron collector i was worried about the quality of this product since it was made in china.

Packaging/appearance

A key feature, in my opinion, that this unit has that i have not found in many others is a flat surface on the inside of the lid.

The way it was packaged and shipped rubbed some of the seasoning off the lid.

Competitiveness

Used in multiple bbq cooking competitions since we got it and would deffinately buy again.
