Pros

The positives outweigh the minimal negatives. I've broken a few of them by dropping them but they are by far the most comfortable to use. Absolutely a great purchase.

Hot enough to soften and maybe melt plastic. Grill cleans easily with vinegar and water mix. Amazon does sell them for the 4 burner size.

It's a big time saver and it's a step that blackstone skipped. Keeps clogging. Bought for concession stand and gets job done with out a lot of smoke.

Cons

Cleaning it with vinager, limon, lightly coating it with oil the top now has too much oxidation the is a worthless work to clean it.

The grill is great heats up fast cuz everything i wanted very sturdy wish the outdoor cover would actually fit with the two side shelves on

The grill is built sturdy and i am pleased.

Grease would run down the leg of the griddle because of the poor design between the cooking surface and the catch can.

The drain hole for grease is too small and tube welded to bottom side had weld slag protruding into opening make grease flow even less.

Price

Not the end of the world and it’s still an awesome grill for the price!

I bought mine from a local farm store with substantial discount, not on amazon.

That’s always nice when you’re spending a lot of money on something!

I have a $5000 sterling tech 2 grille that i will probably never use again after buying this flat top.

Competitiveness

I have other sized camp chef griddles too but the 900 in particular is great for cooking a huge number of frozen burgers.

Spent way too much time googling, checking youtube reviews, comparing it to similar brands and emailing the company lots of questions.

I went thru 4 or 5 different brands before finding ones that didn't leak.

This is one of the main reasons why i chose the ftg900 over the ftg600, even though the ftg600 includes the grilling/griddling option.
