Pros

It puts out a nice flame and adjusts from low to medium to high. Fire pattern and warmth is just great.

My only real complaint is that (on my unit, at least) does begin to whistle on the low setting, at the fire pit end--kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker for me since i can whistle louder than it can. Some reviewers have complaints on the matchles... Read More

The physical size and fire level is perfect for a decent sized patio, campsite, etc. It's large enough in diameter for at least 6 people to sit around. We take it to campouts and it has performed extremely well. Great for the patio.

Fire pit is still like new! Both the camp chef del rio and redwood portable are rated a 55,000 btu. This pit is low to the ground so it lets the heat warm you more.

This one has the same beauty of the copper bowl and a self igniting feature. But the finish on the kettle is good looking, and if it holds up, is probably better than actual copper anyway. Looking forward to the delivery of our lp tank cover/side tabl... Read More

This camp chef firepit is the 2nd one i've owned and i loved the first one, which was only replaced after years of use and abuse.

The heat from this puppy is impressive and the flames have a satisfying height.

This is a good product even with burner and igniter issue.

My last use i notice unusually high flame on one side of the pit, upon further inspection i discovered the burner failure due to corrosion.

Price

Camp chef does sell replacement burners for $14+ .
