Pros & Cons
Pros
The burner is designed to fit the isobutane tanks, so a provided adapter makes the 16oz propane usable. The stove part between the gas canister and the pot has a warning chained to it with one of those little linked ball chains. The base for the propa... Read More
This stove is half the cost of a jet boil, and is exactly the same thing. It is very efficient and heats water so fast.
There is a bit of leakage, but it works. And it does everything flawless,.
The pot to burner fit is good, solid locking and simple. The pot flanges can focus that heat into the pot (instead of wasting it) there is a hot spot right in the middle (typical for many chinese stoves, premium stove tend to have the flame evenly dis... Read More
Cons
Quality control of the product is poor and left me in a highly inconvenient situation. Don't believe all of the reviews, safe yourself the hassle and buy a jet boil.
Highlights
Quality
This stove fits perfectly into the 1-1/2 liter pot and overall weight is very good.
The handle is very sturdy and the lid is easy to remove and replace.
The spark electrode moves around and can fall out.
The lid has a single small perforation vent that also works as a strainer.
Price
The price has been running up on this item, along with its accessories.
The pot/pan adapter originally sold for $15 on wm and you can't find it now for under $25.
Would not spend more that what i spent.
Update --- for $10 bought a jetboil pot holder / adaptor from amazon and it fits and works just fine.
Packaging/appearance
All the components can be packed inside and locked with a small latch.
The unit comes packaged with everything needed to consume either fuel and the kit is somewhat compact (we bought the 200 which is 1.
Small enough for bike packing, but might be a little big for the way we back pack.
Competitiveness
Love it works as described and saved a boat load of money by not buying its more expensive competitor.
I have used other stoves that sell for a higher price and this is just as good as jetboils.
Note: the company says you will need the $30 adapter to cook with any other pots/pans, even theirs.
I've included several pictures to help explain how it works and how it differs from other camp chef models and other brands.
