Pros

It's very roomy capable of cooking either several large pork shoulders or 5+ racks of spare ribs. Roasted whole chicken and grilled a ribeye using the slide n' grill feature.

This camp chef is awesome! Absolutely worth purchasing. Much cheaper than traeger and a better product in my opinion.

Temperatures are displayed on the front digital readout panel. Holds temps great, easy startup without having to pull everything out. The bbq that has come out of this thing has been amazing.

Direct flame works great. Def gets up to 500 for searing and holds steady at lows for smoking. Pulled brisket at 195. It smokes very well.

Loved them both. I certainly have not been disappointed. The best jerky he's ever made.

Cons

Was so excited for this *. And then rude again. A sad miserable experience for a purchase.

Defaulted to 206 degrees and low smoke. Now telling me it maybe bad heater rod/element. Continual flame errors even after receiving a new auger unit from cc.

Unpacked and found a dent/scrape on the main drum. The warranty is meaningless because all you get is broken parts until the warranty period runs out. The only other explanation is it was beaten up at the factory (china) boxed and shipped.

Rather than take it for granted that was the best pellet grill and price i started checking.

But that's the price of loving smoked meats.

I bought this on one the $450 sales.

Save your time and buy a camp chef.

Nothing major, but as an installer, i'm no novice and that would be tough for a diyer.
