Pros

The griddle is awesome. Most noteworthy is how heavy it is. Awesome customer service makes up for an occasional product failure.

No warping and heat is consistent. Never have to use above med-low as that is plenty of heat. Fits the 2burner stove perfectly.

Clean up was easy. The only downside is that if you let it cool down before you clean it rust appears. Cleans up well, even heat.

Cons

The finish is uneven and the metal is rusted. Char accumulates on the surface, and then is a pain to get off. It warped after a couple uses with no more than medium heat &amp.

Hearty, sturdy and real good to cook on.

After the griddle cooled, i flipped it over and a weld had broken on one of the heat distribution plates.

It is cast iron through and through.

Price

I have two grills and a smoker so i didn’t want to spend $700 on a new griddle to find out i didn’t like it.

Cheaper than buying it through the manufacturer!

Lucky it dose not seem to be an essential part, but i was disappointed with the high cost and the products lack of durability.

Packaging/appearance

So be prepared to either rig up something to catch it like i did, or buy the box that fits it.

I do wish it came with a small canister to catch the grease that runs off the griddle.
