Pros

The grill is a tad bit heavy for being portable. Temps vary a little, mostly due to outdoor temp and wind. Using small thermal cover helps.

Could not be happier. Received the grill in a timely manner. Great smoke. Great little grill.

The grill has a design defect with the hopper that requires a person to knock the pellets into the auger section. When they installed the wheel at the factory they collapsed the tubing so now the wheels rub against the tubing and the axle is to short ... Read More

Quality

I was so impressed with the construction and operation of his smoker that i jumped in and ordered one.

It works just like the 24", smaller hopper though but plenty of cooking space with the 2 full racks.

These are mostly design and quality fails, as usual.

Price

Read all rave reviews--hard to find one at decent price.

Packaging/appearance

I only had to remove packaging, put the racks in, and attach the ash tray.

Was shorting out my home electrical, and the internal thermometer was severely bent.

Twice now the fire has tried to back-feed back into the pellet box.

As others have mentioned, the only flaw is that you cannot remove the pellets from the hopper like other campchef models.

Competitiveness

Regardless, it's the only 'portable' smoker out there with full-size features etc.
