(packaging states outdoor use) this stove is wider than typical camp propane stoves.

Was a good buy and would tell everyone to buy this stove.

I purchased a 5 lb propane tank so as not to lug the 20lb around.

It does leave black soot on the bottoms but it cleans off easily enough.

Competitiveness

We use sooooooo much less propane than with our various camping stoves from rei such as coleman etc.

I looked on the camp chef website but they didn't have an upgrade.

If you set this on something with scratch-able finish, it will.
