Quality in craftsmanship, materials, assembly just screams that this is going to be a great smoker for years to come.
Price
With that being said even at full price i would consider this a very good value.
Competitiveness
Drilled out the orifice to a larger size & purchased a 20ft.
The first was a competing brand that i always had to keep an eye on due to temperatures fluctuating.
Set up the same day and smoked a 15lb brisket for 19.
I sold it to jump on the pellet grill bandwagon and bought a rectec.

I couldnt find the right size drill bit anywhere local for the conversion and you will be better off ordering that from amazon if you plan to convert it to natural gas from propane

I used it once then added a felt seal around the door as a lot of smoke leaked out around the door

Temperature control is a little tricky

You have to adjust the flame then adjust the vents to dial in the correct temperature

The people complaining about temperature control clearly have never smoked meat without an electric system guiding temps
