Quality

I went from a charcoal based smoker to the pellets, and i'm very pleased.

I went back and forth on this purchase based on the reviews but i pulled the trigger and couldn't be more pleased.

I just received this unit so i can only comment on the quality and ease of assembly.

I would definitely buy this again, with the caveat that i haven’t used it in temperatures below 75 degrees.

Packaging/appearance

I don't trust the wiring from the controler to the smoke box will last long term.

Competitiveness

The pellets lasted a 12hrs then i refilled for the final 4hrs.

The casters are ample size for the weight of 145lbs.

The jerky was a significant step up from my old process of drying in a cabela's dehydrator.
