Pros
Very tasty and very spicy. It's a little spicy, but only a little. Interesting flavor but not spicy. A sprinkle of file’ (powdered sassafras) after fully heated and right before serving makes it special.
The flavor is wonderful, i never get tired of it. It is at a horrid price right now on amazon. Buy it by the case and subscribe and save discount.
Cons
This soup is more like a jambalaya where the rice is cooked within it. The idea that this is called gumbo is misleading. Nothing like the picture on the can and certainly not chunky.
