The lantern look good and have a good bright light the4 stars is because 1 lantern received was faulty it would not switch there is a spring inside and this was not attached broken base i super glued it in place so far so good i would of sent item back but i was a away next day camping break

Avoid cheap batteries or nonalkaline ones as they will probably leak

The battery compartment is at the bottom with a screw cover and this lantern uses 3off aaa batteries that doesnt come supplied with the lantern

This was used straightaway as the light has blown in my bathroom and i am waiting for the electrician to rewire it at the weekend
