The water boiled quickly with the lid on and the pot wasnt damaged from sitting directly on the coals the last two photos are after they were washed to show they werent damaged

Id recommend using oil or butter the first time you cook in it to season it and it should come out fine

It is a nice sturdy set though just dont buy it if you are looking to cook for more than one person while camping
