Quality
This kit is good i love the case and how well it sits with the pi.
It's been in constant use for months and is quite stable.
Too bad the pi2 didn't have enough horse power to do what i wanted.
The quality of all the parts is outstanding.
Packaging/appearance
Fast shipping i liked what i buy good packaging and it works well
Everything was there and worked right out of the box.
I bought the rpi2 cause the rpi3 was having some issues that we thought wasn't present with rpi2.
Competitiveness
Used these in a summer camp in 2016.
The canakit starter kit did come with everything i needed to get my newer rasp pie up and going.
Will have to get the upgraded pi3 later.
After my first project with thie rpi2, i went out and got smaller kits with rpi3.

I would not buy a raspberry pi 2 again since the raspberry pi 3 is out and includes wireless builtin no need for a usb port to be dedicated to an external wireless usb card

I have had an issue with a failing sd card not sure if its just a rarity or the brand being sent out with kits

The wifi dongle like never works

However if you try to move it there is nothing to hold the lid in place
