Pros
This all-in-one machine is a bit heavy but almighty. It has a very sturdy build and appears to be a very durable printer. Overall hardware looks top notch.
Set up for the mac was easy. Ethernet is also an option and wifi direct in case you're at a cottage or building without a wireless router. I have this unit on ethernet, which made getting this online even easier.
The true test of any printer is its longevity and the longevity of its ink/toner cartridges. As a business it's a investment to use the canon toner but try out aftermarket if you're okay with taking a risk.
Cons
Impossible to list all of the problems and irritants with this printer but suffice to say, this is the last canon i will ever buy. Feed gets jammed every time for a scan, the driver needs to be re-installed daily. Le manuel n’aide pas vraiment.
I can't find a way to do a connection test from within the management console for remote connections. I have no idea why they aren't in the same place as configuring the smtp port. Canon also prevents you from disabling the eco sleep mode settings.

Overall i am happy with this product.
Quality of print not as good as i expect but works better than others that i've tried before.
The print quality is good, but odd documents come out very faint on the black ink, not the colours.

The price was awesome for colour printer.
Cost was half of other websites or brick and mortar.
Competitiveness
It can only use 2ghz band wifi networks (no 5 ghz band wifi support).
Toners are however more expensive than other brands.
