I searched that number on the canon website as well as the serial number that is on the box which it should actually be the same but its not and neither one of them were valid serial numbers

Its unfortunate that i cant register it or use certain wifi services on the camera because the serial number is not found

However there was a blemish on the lens but i can live with it as it doesnt affect the actual image

I liked the fact that this camera is a basic dlsr camera and its super affordable if looking for something to simply take pictures with

However its not for professional videos and even if you are a professional photographer you will want a bit of a upgraded camera andor a better lens
