Pros & Cons
Pros
The m6 mark ii packs all the features of a semi-professional camera body. It is an absolute beast of a pocket rocket. As a canon user the m6 mk ii is the bees knees.
The focus system is far superior to the m3. It has a faster standard burst rate of 14 glorious fps and an even more impressive 30fps with continuous af at 18mp crop. No more fighting the glare on my back screen while videoing eagles.
Circular file for those kit zoom lens like the ones handed out in canon’s press preview events. Eos m6 mk2 is ef-m mount which meant i had to spend more money on it best native lens. Ef/efs lens adapter and an evf and you basically have a 7d mk. With ... Read More
This camera produces great images, and i like that the screen only tilts and the evf is removable. The touchscreen works well and the menus mostly make sense. Like the reversible screen.
Cons
Rolling shutter that distorts the image when panning. Also shuts off every 30 minutes, so if you're in a zoom you have to turn it off and turn it back on. Hdmi port is micro, so it's a bit flimsy in my opinion.

Canon's big mistake was ditching the exposure compensation dial of the m6 and replacing it with the dial func control.
You can throw it in a purse with the fixed lens and not have to take a backpack.
Packaging/appearance
The cons:- controls- these really suck if you got used to the amazing exposure compensation control canon used to have on the m3.
This can be annoying when you want to shoot inside, in the dark.
Competitiveness
I had a 50d, then upgraded to a 5d mark iii and also had a m3.
The good:-this camera's focus system is far superior to the m3.
Using twixtor for slo motion but i still have to deduct points because all the competitors have the option.
