Pros

The body feels lighter than the 5d4 and the grip is a bit less beefy which is comfortable in my hand. It is a massive upgrade over the canon 7d2 that i was using for 4 years prior to this.

The r5 is a solid camera that justifies its price tag. The elephant in the room is the cost and video issues. A bit pricey but worth it.

Cons

Main criticism against it is the overheating issue. After further inspection on shutter count app. Also, the battery just runs down over a few days, so always keep a battery on the charger.

Well worth the cost for the images it produces.

Probably wasnt too big of a deal but when you spend over $3k, you don't expect that.

It's also packed with so many options that anyone using the r5 will find what they get comfortable with.

I use it to shoot both photo and video content for some of the largest corporations in the world as well as very high end weddings.

I have used many different cameras over my career from different brands and i always come back to canon.

I also tested the camera at 6400 and found the noise to be very acceptable, especially when i compare it to my canon 7d2.

I've been hearing it from sony mirrorless owners, fuji, and canon owners that mirrorless cameras are light years better.
