The eos r8 completely fixes these issues. I use mine mostly in my home studio and it's currently behind a teleprompter. The combination of the superb image quality, light weight, and affordable price make this hard to pass up.

Canon eos 5d mark iii with an adapter is available for the r7 and 7d. The r7 comes with a body only version of the ef 100-400 lens. The adapter can also be used with the r8, r5, r7d or 7d, but the adapter costs $99. From canon's ef-lense website.
