Pros

Autofocus is very fast and it will highlight whatever is in focus. I prefer the slower shutter rate even on my 7dii. If you’re ok shooting slower frame rates the autofocus seems to work well and it’s silent.

Better low light capability and higher iso is very nice. High iso handling saved my *.

Great image quality right out of the camera - especially true due to the better lens. I especially love the high quality video that this can produce. I can connect an external microphone, and headphones.

Lens does really well as a walkabout, all-purpose lens. The 24-105 stm lens that comes with the camera is tack sharp and the lens has is that allows handheld shooting down to 1/15th of a second.

The rp controls and functionality are great. The wifi and bluetooth connectivity is seamless. The remote camera operation via iphone works flawlessly.

Cons

The electronic viewfinder is a great idea but you can see the viewfinder trying to keep up with you. The max shutter speed is only 1/4000. Don't even think about increasing the iso to 10,000. The manual clearly states that processing raw images from t... Read More

Competitiveness

I previously had a canon t3i and i absolutely loved that thing.

We absolutely love this camera we have a canon 80d and was set that we wouldn’t go mirrorless.

It is weaker in low light than many of it's competitors - that would be my only negative comment.

This is the lowest fps among it's competitors.
